Can you still get into a level 6 course if you fail a non-mandatory sub in level 5?

Just curious as to what failing a non-mandatory module means for when applying to a level 6 course up from the present course?

Would I have to repeat the module in level 6 and pass?

It depends on the entry criteria of the college or centre for the Level 6 course. If you fail an elective and that costs you your full award then they may opt to give places to those who have a full award. Check with your centre.
