I remember using a utility accessed using either Run or Command Prompt that displayed some handy technical data about my computer - including what my motherboard's part number is.

Does anyone know what i'm talking about?

    I'm using Windows 7.

you will need to give us more info

Make and Model of your motherboard (this can be read directly off the board if u open the case.)

It's not the motherboard model number itself I'm looking for, it's a utility that you run from either command prompt or run that displays the motherboard model number (amongst several other things).

It possibly has something to do with DirectX. I seem to remember seeing the DirectX logo on the window.
