    Guys,
Was thinking of getting the aul fella a model kit for a wee project for him when he retires. Not while sure if he’d enjoy it, but was thinking of a woden boat model around £50. I’ve had a look at a few online and then was thinking are there any Irish models that might be of more interest to him? Not necessarily boats either, but can any of you suggest a site that sells kits for Irish models of any kind that would be suitable to someone new to building models?
    Thanks in advance

Try marks models they have a good range of wooden kits and their prices are ok but make sure you know what kind of era your oulman is interested in ie WW2 Modern etc that way you have a better chance he'l take up the hobby!
