    Reflective LED Band

These are pretty handy to have during Winter time, but probably not much use for the next while.
Also, these were in Aldi last September, and they were only €5.99 :D

Yes I can see the 'fold up decompression chamber' sitting there in a rack beside an entire frozen lamb :)

Their 9mm wetsuits are the dogs proverbial for potholing.

Ok, sorry to drag thread off topic, but are you lads for real? Lidl actually sell good quality wetsuits?

Well my needs are not scuba diving though I know a few lads with them and they have no complaints.

However I do welcome the 9mm neoprane in bitter cold evironments. It suits my needs. Plus so much neoprane makes you float = less effort swimming :D

Should be fun trying out the wetsuits for size while everyone else is doing their food shopping :pac:

Just buy one in every size that might fit, and return the ones that don't. Lidl have the best returns policy ever. I've often bought something on the offchance it would do the trick, and just brought it back if it didn't.

plenty of people in our local sub aqua use them as starter suits (most go to drysuits eventually) i have one if there 5 3 suits as well, its fine (for what i use it for)

But a light breeze after you take off your wetsuit or bike shorts helps to air things out :pac:

Picked up a soft shell jacket this morning, very nice indeed for the money.

I got one for sea-kayaking and they are excellent - I've also used the shortie they were selling for some open water swimming and again, excellent.

Some of the more expensive suits don't do as good a job - in fact I'd go as far to say that for kayaking only my dry suit performs better.

The black soft shell jacket was a far better fit than the blue one and seems superior. Its also subtle & doesn't shout Lidl either. If wearing black is an issue wear a bright Gilet over it.

Brought the blue jacket back and got another black. If it had a logo on it x 5.
Cycling suit (bib tights) are terrible, took back for a no questions refund.

The compression tops are excellent, bought another two to add to my three.

At 6 this evening Finglas had 20 or so left in all sizes. Newbridge and Naas also had lots this afternoon.

+1 on the bib tights - absolute rubbish, feel very heavy, clunky, non breathable, no shape to them - jacket is ok, just - sizing is very strange, usually an xl to l maybe but got a M jacket as one was open and even that is a little on the big side - to be honest should have saved my money on both of them and just put towards one piece of quality gear
