Tax Refund vs JSA

Would appreciate if any of you could shed some light on this.

I recently claimed tax refund for the previous years and my tax credit has been amended/increased, and am due for some tax refund also.

My wife is currently on JSA but am just wondering if there is any impact on the amount my wife receives by this tax amendment in future, I mean, will the JSA amount decrease as my tax credit increased? I hope not.

Moreover, does social welfare have access to people's bank account details and will the amount of JSA be means-tested due to above?

    Thanks,
