    Hi there,

Did anyone here what the sales have been like for the Madonna concert? I heard all of the cheaper tickets were sold out but the other tickets were not selling well.

I have tickets but dont want to go if the place is going to be half empty, anyone hear anything on how its selling?

    Thanks

Tickets are still available at ALL price levels, €54.65 to €141.00. As far as knowing how many tickets are sold for each price level is slightly difficult. Go onto ticketmaster and see what seats you can get at each level. You'll have a good idea then of how many are sold.

My guess would be that this will attract in and around 30,000. 35,000 if sales improve!!

    My theory being:
    1. Tuesday night, terrible night for a gig.
    2. Everybody is flat broke and tickets are not cheap.
    3. Madonna's ability to draw huge crowds in Ireland is not proven, eg, Slane 2004 did not sell out
    4. Increased amount of festivals, gigs etc both north and south of the border this Summer leading people to skip some gigs that they would have liked to attend.

god, 30 to 35,000 would not be good at all.

I thought that the cheaper ones were gone already. i will have to wait and see how this pans out.

but. . . if you want to go, why would you care how many people will be there?

i care because if the place is half empty, im worried that the atmosphere wont be up to much.

FFS, you either want to go to the gig or you don't. If it was someone I wanted to see I wouldn't care if there were only two other people in the audience. If you want people pushing you and spilling drink on you that badly, go the the pub.

I'd say that if you go with the attitude that "I am going to have a great time", you will have a great time no matter how many people are there.

Are you sure you want to go in the first place??
