just wondering if any of you guys have a handy A frame for skining?I have limited space and cant put up a permenant frame so was looking for something I might be able to stick out of the way or dismantle when not needed.I came across this frame and thought it was a handy set up.I have a winch and just need the frame. My back is wrecked from bending over when skining.Heres three
I found on the net,the first I think might be the job,its unobtrusive and can be left bolted to the floor, the 2cd frame on wheels isnt too bad an idea either.Anyone have photos of their set up that might be helpfull

obviously the goat im skining is for dog meat and not the table, lol. The smaller goats are skinned and butchered in the house, which makes the wife ''really'' happy.

Why dont you just bolt an angle iron or box iron frame to the wall behind you in the photo and put it on a swivle and turn it flush into the wall when not in use. The whole lot should only jut about 5" out not much further then the winch would be and keep it above head hight.

a swing for kids is the job to just hang the deer on hooks from where the swings would be attached to the bar

we have a bracket from a sports shop and the only thing is it doesnt come far enough away from the wall.I am thinking though I could put a swivel on to it and turn the carcass to access both sides.Im going to move on it in the next few days.Thank you for the input.

i was actual at a mates house tonight and he has one in his garage, its not a normal punching bag but a nearly 6ft one and he has massive brackets coming out from the wall that would hold a stag let alone a goat. comes out a fair bit too

If your out near santry in Dublin, there is a bargain shop in Gulliver retail park, it sells stuff from aldi/lidl (all the crap you go and buy thinking you will use it then it sits on a shelve in your shed) but they have the electric winch for 48 euro ; it could be mounted to a Joyce on your shed roof so you can raise and lower the animal to the height you want to work to.
