    Hi girls,

am in love with this dress but thinking the colour is too close to full on cream to wear to a wedding- what6 do you think? Was considering it with a beige clutch and beige shoes (a wee bit darker than nude)

    Fabulous dress.

It's really only the satin part that is very cream like.

I'd wear it, if I had the body!

Could you funk it up with colourful accessories rather than beige?

Absolutely wedding appropriate in my view. Lovely dress

It's definitely wedding appropriate, but not keen on the idea of beige accessories too, the whole outfit could be a bit overkill and bland. Why not go for a pop of colour in your accessories instead. a dark pink or turquoise would be a lovely contrast with the colour of the dress.

Stunning dress! I would go for bright accessories though, maybe hot pink or turquoise shoes and a simple matching clutch.

Something like this could be nice. Miss KG €93.31 on asos.com
    image1xxl.jpg

This bag is beautiful but the price is crazy €145 from Costello & Costello but something like this could work

I know it's a lot of nude/beige but theres a bit of pink in the 1st pair of shoes and bling in the 2nd pair!:o

You could have a delicate pink clutch and jewllery like the stones on the first pair of shoes

Or you could have sparkly jewellry and sparkly clutch with the 2nd pair of shoes!

    Just an idea:)

Thanks girls, I went ahead and bought it with a 15% discount code so it was a great wee bargain... Yippee! Fits like a glove and is so comfortable, would definitely recommend using this website. Ordered it late Friday night so it essentially took 3 working days with standard shipping, so speedier than ASOS... Delivery is €16 but I don't mind as I'm so happy with the dress and couldn't find anything I liked in the shops in Dublin. Looks beautiful on and I'm by no means slim (size 14), got butterflies when I looked in the mirror. No better feeling than having a beautiful outfit you feel great in for a big event. Going to take it with me when I'm accessory shopping next week to find shoes and a bag that will go. Yay for new stuff!

I LOVE it!!! Very tempted to buy it. Size 14 also!

Definitely do. They have it in black, pink and blue also. Discount code is DRESS15.

I'd go with coral to make it really summery.

Just thought I'd give an update on the accessories situation- have decided to go with a bright orangey/red/coral sort of colour and bought these shoes today 37262154_z1.jpg for €85 in Office. Bit more than I would have hoped to spend but they are really gorgeous in person and I reckon I'll get wear out of them again. Going to try and find a large structured clutch in the same colour, if I don't succeed with that I'll buy a neutral one and match it up by making a ribbon corsage in coral to attach to it, or buy a flower or something. Coral pashmina, gold jewellery and I'm good to go! :)

Hey OP, I love the dress. Any chance you could post a pic of yourself wearing it? I can't find any pics online of the dress on a mannequin so no idea how it sits. Am thinking of buying it myself, it's really beautiful!

To me that dress is far too white/cream for a wedding.

I'd never wear cream/white to a wedding in respect of the bride.

I was at a wedding last night and there was three or four people wearing pure white dresses, and then more in cream shades!

The dress is really more beige than cream. Much too dark a shade for a bride really. Health to wear OP, nothing like a dress that gives you butterflies!!

The colour and dress is lovely but I agree defo use a pop of colour for bag, accessories and shoes. All those neon colours are in now orange, turquoise, royal blue, pink or maybe a nice burgandy. Depends too on your skintone, hair and eyes olive skin looks great against neons

Bit risky to do that too dontya think? Personally I will not be wearing a white wedding dress, but I respect that lots of women do like the idea of themselves being the only one in white on their wedding day. I think its a bit rude to show up to a wedding in a pure white dress. But I guess it depends on the bride and what sort of wedding it is.

I don't think the op's dress is too white though, as its more beige/cream. Lovely dress op.
