Decided enough was enough and time to invest in a burr grinder as the blade grinder just ain't cutting it. Didn't want to go mad as only drink a cup of French press coffee a day but found a krups Expert GVX231 on amazon for £40 with free super saver delivery.

Wasn't expecting much TBH as thought you had to spend big money do get a decent burr but am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee compared to what I had been getting before using the blade grinder. I can actually taste the difference in different beans wheras before everything tasted much the same and I would say it is just as good as a decent coffee shop coffee. I'mlooking forward to playing around with grind size etc to perfect my cuppa.

This is all probably very obvious to all the coffee experts but just to let the newbies like myself know that in this is a great priced entry level burr grinder.
