    Hi Guys,

I am currently doing a project where I have to design a medium range aircraft that conforms to a number of specifications. I am finding difficult to find data on a number of planes which I want to use as my base point. In particular it quite difficult to get data on a plane's take-off/landing field lengths. I have found airliners.net to be useful for getting things like thrust/dimensions weight etc. but its not very comprehensive. The Jane's book I have also is more of a general guide and doesn't go too much in depth.

Any ideas of websites where I could get in depth specs on planes, in particular the DC8-63, A300-600 and the Lockheed L1011-200.

    Cheers

You need performance manuals for that. Do a google. I'm sure they're available somewhere. As for the L1011, old CAA manual used in pilot exams was supposedly based on the Tristar. I can't remember what CAP number it was now. But the current CAP 698 uses a generic twin engined medium range jet transport for it's performance examples. That might be useful.
