These vans suffer from injector pump failure and it's quite common problem on them I had a friend who's one packed up the same thing and I beleave the cost of repair to be more then the vans worth

as i said you earlier today, make sure your timing marks is correct, possibility of diesel pump pulley slipped (500 miles after timing belt change... could be tensioner went loose) ... well... i presume need to start with easier stuff, like check that timing, crankshaft sensor, also suggest check the diesel filter, is any fuel there..... we had a situation in garage with MB vito , faulty diesel filter, it was leaking air in system, what caused diesel run in to fuel tank, and didnt hold diesel in lines, we couldnt start van, until we put another new filter, and i know, if Opel diesels pumps are goin to fail, if trying start without fuel, sometimes people literally destroy them, while trying start without fuel.
Good luck with that thing, try check uk market for parts, might youll be able recondition that thing in NI.

yes it is, did it three weeks ago on mine, no probs since. replacement edu(on the fuel pump) cost about €50 in scrap yard or get remapped in england for £40.
.try soldering first, four nuts to take it off. ten min job.:)
