Do Paddy Power deposits via PayPal show up on Credit Card Bills?

I've heard stories of people having problems with banks and credit card companies when they spot payments to Paddy Power on bills, so I want to avoid it if I can. The last payment I made was a refund I got from Microsoft which left my Pay Pal account in credit, so there was nothing put on my bill since my credit card wasn't involved.

Anyone have any working knowledge of that? If I use Pay Pal for a quick deposit and a credit card to pay PayPal, will it show up on bills as a Paddy Power payment?

    edit, correction

I'm with PTSB and VISA, it shows up as POS PAYPAL *PP O and a date on a bank statement, the PP O is shorthand for Paddy Power Online

AFAIK you can transfer money into your paypal account so your account has a positive balance, you can then make smaller payments from the paypal account without each one showing on your CC statement.
But people who look at your credit history, statements etc aren't stupid, they will ask what these payments/lodgements are for.

I can't see an option to top up Paypal with a credit card actually :(

It's not that I bet a lot. I'm taking a 20€ transaction which will do me for a month. It's just I don't want even a small amount screwing me up if I go for a loan or mortgage or whatever in the future...

Was in the same boat and got an 02 money card. Top up in shop and then bet away. For €20 there is a 99c charge but worth it to keep the account clean imo

Tell them you are doing a favour for someone who's account has been closed and you're helping them to get a bet on and they pay you the cash and you give them any winnings (less a % :)).

Use moneybookers OP. It's basically an online bank account.

You transfer money from your bank account to it and then work from that. All the major bookmakers accept it.
You won't have all the transactions showing up on your bank account.

Banks will check your current account, where your salary goes into but I am not too sure they check your separate CC. However best to be sure.
