Tesco now have their very own crisp brand with cheese and onion, salt and vinegar and ready salted.

I'm saying this for people who are on a tight budget because there cheaper then many other crisp brands.

They sell multipack bags of these

Quality is average, don't expect a miracle out of cheap. But there still very eatable and may be worth looking at.

How is this fact a rip off?

I'm advising people to look to cheaper brands instead of the usual rip of brands.

Is this a Bargain Alert or a Rip Off Report?

Ok mod, I apologise and if you may move this thread to bargain alerts if required.

Hasn't Tesco had their own crisps for at least a decade?
I've always wondered how I'd manage to procure ready salted crisps if I were on a tight budget.

Tesco have, but not in multipacks nor in these 3 flavours.

No, it's a "Tesco aren't as bad as we've been led to believe they are" alert.

I'm getting 'Tesco Value Ready Salted' for ages, they come in a pack of 12

So now branded goods/crisps are rip offs rather than the retailer?
Makes a change from the norm I suppose.:D

cheap price = cheap ingredient = crap taste = bad value

I think people are entitled to a little more than bread and water on a tight budget.
