sun screen idea for large sliding doors

    Hi

I have large sliding doors at back of my house (south facing garden) so sun is a problem. There is a glare off TV and gets very hot on those rare sunny days. The doors slide over each other and there is not enough room for blinds within the frame.

Only options I can think of is a screen that can be pulled out temporarily? Like old fashioned screen used for privacy in the bedroom! Anybody got any ideas?

Ikea sell various sliding tracks and sun screens/privicy screens that you can slide from one side to the other.

They can be had in 2 foot length drops or full 8 foot long drops too.:)

Can you not just hang a curtain rail outside the frame and hang curtains with blackout lining?

Try turning off tv and going outside on those rare sunny days. Also you could try curtains, vertical blinds or concrete blocks.
