Can anyone recommend a vet in Kilkenny who deals with small animals in particular as I need to take my cat to have a thorough check over. Thanks.

We use Abbeyside on the Dublin Road.

Abbeyside are great but a word of advice, vets outside of Kilkenny town are half the price. Richie Brennan in Thomastown is excellent. I was quoted €70+ in Kilkenny (won't say which vets) when we got our dog as a pup for his initial visit and injections - Richie Brennan charged €30. A huge difference in price for the same service.
