Hi, Our guitarist is away that night so just thought we'd offer the gig to anyone of a suitable standard. The set is your typical covers band stuff, Kings of Leon, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC etc. Obviously given the short time available we're looking for experienced and accomplished musicians only. It just wouldn't work otherwise.…

Hi,

Our guitarist is away that night so just thought we'd offer the gig to anyone of a suitable standard. The set is your typical covers band stuff, Kings of Leon, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC etc. Obviously given the short time available we're looking for experienced and accomplished musicians only. It just wouldn't work otherwise. The gig is in Meath. PM for more details.

try pm'ing the user thomasfrompresence. you'll find him in the theory subforum of instruments, he's a pro and probably familiar with that material.

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately the bass player decided it would be best to postpone the gig without letting me know. In the mean time I had posted adverts for the position. Sorry for all the messing about.

As it happens a friend of mine told me tonight he's looking for a guitarist for his cover band. They're fairly busy and by the sounds of it they need someone to stand-in for about a months worth of gigs in the near future. The position may become fulltime.

If anyone is interested and wants to PM me I will pass on phone numbers to him for the next week. I'll do that until 10th may.
