400m races in Dublin in July?

I'm back from Oz for a little while this summer and am in Dublin from July 20th til August 3rd, and August 12th til August 16th (London in between :D). It will still be pre-season for me (being based in Oz) but would like to take advantage of it being track season in Ireland at that time by getting a few races in. I have the graded meet on August 1st chalked down, for a 200m and 800m, but it would be nice to get a 400m race in during that time to see where I am at.

Other than Graded Meets, can anybody tell me what other club events/championships/meets are on around that time? There isn't really a good calender available of track events in Ireland, and if there is it is not easy to find.

    Thanks

You will find it hard to get into any club races/ Championship ones for the simple reason that as a non AAI affiliated runner you are not insured. Keep an eye on the AAI website however for open days as some clubs will hold these throughout the year and this site usually put up articles advertising this.

Other than that I would say try emailing AAI about trying to come to some understanding regarding insurance to allow you to race while here possibly

I'm sure if you talked nice to some club you might get registered for just the base fee for the time that your here. If there were a few races then 20/30 euro wouldnt be to bad.
