problems tuning to today fm

hi this morning switched on radio in kitchen which is automatically tuned to today fm only to find its not there anymore, scanned up and down a bit eventually found it but terrible reception, anyone know did they change their frequency?

thanks - its very strange as i just cant tune it in properly at all, whereas all other stations coming in loud and clear -but no worries a change is as good as a rest!

Was trying to tune into TodayFM late last night on 101.8 but all I got was noise, they appear to have fixed it this morning.

Today FM always seems to be dodgy with reception around Cork for me, very annoying...

Have the same problem usually listen on the phone at work but today fm has the poorest reception of all the stations in cork.

Today fm signal is through RTE transmitters. Often heard Matt cooper and ray D'Arcy saying that they pay RTE huge fees to transmit and the service isn't very good.

Today FM 101.0 MHZ is gone from Cnoc on Oir (north kerry) Its gone now nearly a week, I thought it might be a break down, but they must have removed the transmitter from the site. Can anyone from Today FM clarify what happened.

I had it on Monday night on 101MHz around Ballybunion.

I have never been able to find a list of the frequencies that Today FM use. You can usually track the info. down for the other stations if you search around on their websites but I've always drawn a blank with Today FM.

I'm happy to hear it back again, it has a very good signal, same strength as Radio Kerry. The RTE channels are very weak. Radio 1, 2fm, RnaG and Lyric fm needs to be up graded.

Today FM gone from Cnoc on Oir, another break down I'd imagine, last one was 9 months ago, amazing how it happens like this.

Just reading through the thread I'd realized RTE had carried Today FM and maintenance work but its signal was poor. Now that they are running and maintaining their own service it is so much better and stronger than RTE FM.
