    sensitive or what?

If they told a paddy irishman joke would you ring the guards?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,930 ✭✭✭galwayjohn89

For f*ck sake. I just listened to it. Nothing racist at all there.

It's like Stephen Fry on Qi saying all Irish people are leprechauns. It's clearly a joke and not offensive in any way.

I would find it in bad taste. But hey nothing like a few racist jokes on national radio to keep racism live and thriving here in Ireland

When I listened to it I had expected something far more derogatory. It was pretty tame. I think you're over-reacting to be honest.

Racist is a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others.

Nothing in that joke was hinting that the Irish think their better. Just that two thirty in a Chinese accent sounds like tooth thirty. And Salt and Vinegar can sound like sore finger. Or Beer Can in a english accent sounds like Bacon in a Jamican accent.

Nothing like people like you to keep over sensitivity at the forefront either.

Ridiculous statement, and im sure both men involved would find it extremely insulting to be called racist. Im sure that no-one was offended by the jokes they told. 5 year olds come out with worse.

Another case of Political correctness gone mad. Soon people wont be able to say what colour their car is.

So I suppose inspector Inspector Clouseau movies and Allo Allo are racist as much of their comedic content rely on foreign accent puns?

Friggn PC fascists had get their way we'll be devoid of any comedy.

There's something very 'Marty Morrissey' about that girl in the picture, unfortunately. The teeth, maybe.
