IMHO TV3 and 3e are dross so no great loss if not on satellite.

90 % of most TV channels these days is dross but that's a personal opinion.

At least TV3 has Vincent Brown.

Can anyone tell me if there is teletext on saorsat? Cant seem to find out anywhere. Also what are the chances of TV3 & 3E joining?

Conventional teletext is currently available on RTÉ 1+2 and TG4 via Saorsat. Not sure if it will stay there after DSO.

For proper digital teletext you would need to use the triax TSC114. It's the only Saorsat approved box. Not sure if it works on teletext or if it is being broadcast. That box is 180 euro.

Teletext is available on RTE1 and TG4 on Saorsat. No teletext on RTE2, RTE jr, RTE+1, RTE news now.

The TSC114 makes no sense for Saorsat, It's a Saorview Combo box (Terrestrial + Satellite). It's value is Saorview + "Freesat HD" for people that don't care about full "Freesat HD" compatibility (Autotune).
