Repeating things for no reason

    Hey everyone!
I'm not really sure how to explain this, but basically when I was young I used to have to repeat certain things for no reason. For instance when speaking, one of the words I had just said would... I don't know how to explain this... just seem wrong. I'd then have to repeat it over and again in my head in slightly different ways until it became 'right'. It also happened with a form of clicking noises that I would have to keep making in slightly different ways until it just seemed right. For at least two years I also had to touch certain radiators in my house when I passed them. I've no idea why but just like with speaking and clicking I'd have to do it in a certain way until, well, it just clicked (see what I did there haha). I didn't really have a problem with any of this when I was around people (though I did get some looks once or twice :), but when I was alone they were just things that had to be done. I couldn't not do them because otherwise it was just... wrong. I don't really know how to describe it. It just had to be done or it would drive me up the wall!
Anyway I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else or was I just mad? ;)

We absolutely CANNOT identify mental health problems over the internet, just as doctors can't diagnose medical problems on the internet. See the Charter! See a GP!

Swop experiences in Long Term Illness or ask others what they think in Personal Issues.

But NOBODY can diagnose on the internet.
