Just read the news that Hatton promotions are not having their contract renewed by Sky Sports. Anyone know if this was on the cards?
Are sky planning on reducing their boxing schedule?

I heard somewhere they're reducing their boxing schedule by half and focusing on quality rather than quantity. Shame really cos they have shown some great domestic dust ups. Joke really that they can justify a channel dedicated to cars driving round in circles for a few hours yet are reducing their boxing schedule.

very strange as they are not exactly flush with promoters with quality fights.

Considering the relationship between Frank Warren and Hatton I wouldn't be so sure on that. Hatton will possibly look to Channel 5 if no further dates with Sky can be achieved. Eurosport will probably also be an option if they can't get one of the bigger tv broadcasters to bite.

Most of the dates (~20) will be filled by Hearn, with 6 going to Maloney.
