Hi folks looking for some opinions please , yesterday while driving the car it cut out and diesel spilled out of the engine all over the road . Turned out it was the fuel line came loose and just had to be reconnected .

Today while driving I felt the brake pedal grinding under my foot , then the abs , handbrake and traction control lights all come on . when I went over a speed bump shortly after , the warning lights went off but are now back on again . does anyone think what happened yesterday and today could be connected ? anyone have an idea of what might have happened with the brakes ?

the abs light were on before and I had a new abs sensor fitted three months ago , also had new brake pads fitted three months ago. thanks for any advice .

Very doubtful. I've had the popped fuel line experience with mine too after fuel injector replacement and it did not affect any wheels/brakes at all. And as you've clearly been having ABS/brake sensor issues on and off for quite a while now imo you've an unresolved issue still in that area.

You need to get a competent mechanic to assess that problem ASAP now before - worst case scenario - you potentially cause yourself or somebody else damage or injury thru' ABS failure or worse. Are you in Dublin? If so please PM Nissan Doctor who's excellent with these cars and charges very reasonably - he responded to one of your previous threads.

<Edit - or PM Onwardandupwar if suits you better :) >
