Grass covered in little purple things

As you can tell, no expert when it comes to gardening, but there,s sections of my garden which seem to have little patches of purple growth. It looks like purple grass, best way I can describe it. Never had it before this year, anyone know what it is and how to get rid? I haven't yet done my grass feed and weed, but will be soon. Hopefully that might sort it.

It might be pink patch disease, I had it before. Had to get a fungicide to clear it, cannot remember its name - sorry.
