Buying a trackpad for Macbook

    I need to buy trackpad for my 2009 Macbook 13 inch. Can I buy any 2009/2010 trackpad off eBay or are they some issues I need to be aware of?

    The 2009 trackpads contain radiation and are known to explode on touch. No wait, they're not. I made that up. They're fine. Why wouldn't they be?

    I ask purely out of curiosity but why would you buy a trackpad for a macbook? It has a trackpad already?

    I meant a replacement trackpad, not a standalone one. I was able to fix it in the end.
