Is there a cheaper alternative to these?

Ones with good strong smell, plus last a while.

i have been looking at your link, great to see they are made of natural products, i will be buying when next in galway, it is the natural product that catches my eye, and most important is they are made right here in ireland, giving jobs locally, can you tell us if they sell these candles anywhere else in ireland and if so where, thanks for this, i will be giving them a call

Great to see a new irish candle company, if there was a stockist near by I'd definitely try one or two

I have tried scented candles from a company in Wicklow, which scent wise I found disappointing (the candles burned well etc but the scent was not anywhere near yankee candle quality)

I did like the Cahsel Living candles though, but can find little or nothing about them online - picked them up in Homestore & more

It's very difficult IMO to get anywhere near the quality of yankee candles elsewhere - love them ;)

If there is a Homestore + More near you, then all candles, including Yankee are currently half price. So €13.25 for a large jar.

I find the scented candles from Penneys very good. I constantly have a vanilla one burning. It's not too sweet, but it isn't in a jar. You can get little scented tealights which are handy too.

What's so good about Yankee candles ? Do people like them because they last 120 hours or because they smell better than anything else out there ? How do they stack up against some of Ikeas large scented candles ?

The tealights are about €3 for ten or twelve, but the larger candles are between €3- €6.

This one was €1.50 in Dunnes.
