mmmmmm, my local Tesco has been doing Faustino VII for €5 for the past couple of weeks ... if they run this offer in conjunction with that, it'll work out €3.75 per bottle .... pray for my liver !!!:eek:

They still have a few boxes of this in Tesco celbridge. The rawnesly (sp?) is €7 down from €13, and the Mcwilliams is €7 down from €11. Just the ones I could see from the end of the ailse this morning on my recce mission:D

I can confirm that as of 5.30pm there are still approx 10 cases of Faustino VII left @ €5 per bottle - ... just picked up 8 bottles for the grand total of €30 :cool:

For some reason, this has been that price in Celbridge ONLY for the past forthnight (along with Santa Rita 120 - of which there is none left) ... just down the road in Maynooth it's been €7 per bottle during the same period .... don't ask me why.

Thanks for your post RayCon. Managed to get a couple of boxes tonight. There are 2 stacks of boxes for those looking for it, one at the end of the aisle and one further down in the middle.

If you buy more than 6 bottles, you get the additional 25% off as well.

Is this faustino good? I never know what to get in tesco winewise.

Always get oceans edge as it's lovely. Generally down from 15-17 to 7.

Cheers for the most recent alert.
Has anyone got any recommendations from the current wine sale in Tesco.
I will need to but a dozen plus bottles for an upcoming party but cant get in to the Tesco website to view what they have available.
Is the Faustino V11 any good.
I would need mostly reds, nothing too heavy.
I was thinking of a Malbec or Chianti.
Any thoughts on the current Tesco range as the twenty five percent off would be a real saver.

we have been on the rawnsley and mcguigan the cab merlot, the merlot, lovely, but each to their own.

they have a champagne at half price €20 so 6 bottles for 90 instead of the 240 it was 2 weeks ago !!! not bad at all
