Asterisk in credit statement?

One of my friends was looking over his credit statement in SISweb and noticed that two of his grades have an asterisk in front of them (an A- and a B+), and is wondering what it means. I have a feeling it might mean he came first in the class, or was one of the highest grades or something, but he seems to think it might be…

Grade was adjusted. Same happened to me and I went up a grade.
