Usually it means the channel is Free To Air but will encrypt in Biss type encryption when required. Rai do this alot when the football comes on. Don't know much about Aztv though.

Update: Just read it is only FTA on terrestrial only. No good. Try GMG Sport on 42east. It's FTA but you'll need a hd box to view the S2 transmission.
