Thinking of getting this portable hard drive....

Question is - will it work with a portable DVD player? Normally use USB sticks for movies - but going on long holiday and rather than having a few of those, I'd like one large solution. Will the USB port on a portable DVD player provide the same power that a laptop would?

Have looked up specs for this hard drive, and the DVD player, and see no mention of power specs for USB

    thanks

Probably not, however if the DVD Player has a port for a USB device it may have sufficient power to power such devices, however a portable hard disk uses much more power than a flash disk. Many portable drives also rely on two USB connectors to be plugged in to operate
