Recommended Restaurants in London

My husband and i are going to London for a weekend in June to celebrate my 40th and want to book a nice restaurant now before the good one are booked out. We're staying around London Tower and have been before but want to book something special.:)

Not sure whether you're staying north or south. Also not sure on budget or food style. Le Pont de la Tour (despite some people acting Conran connection) can be excellent. Not always as pricey as some assume. If you're happy to move a litte further afield, for italian I would recommend Theo Randall at the Intercontinental if ou're pushing the boat out ad want push. He was head chef at the River Cafe all the years it was at the top of its game. If you want fantastic true Italian food on a budget, Zucca on Bermondsey Street but very difficult to get a table.

Roka on Charlotte Street for Japanese robata. Yauatcha or Hakkasan for some fantastic high end Chinese. Any Patara for a decent Thai.

More info on food style and budget would be good.
