    I just downloaded the original discworld game as freeware.

    Does anyone have the voice file?

    It's not freeware, so it's not legal to distribute it.

    i just downloaded it from abandonware with absolutely now hassle

    Yep 100% sure.

    It's still technically copyright infringement. I know that the copyright owners of Discworld definitely haven't abandoned or forgotten about it (case in point: Them giving the source code for the game to the ScummVM team)
