    I have come across a good few threads of people looking for good deals on chicken wire and other pen building materials.
    Chicken wire from McEoin's and other similar suppliers is way overpriced.
    The cheapest I've seen is 1" x 1200mm x 150M for €38.25 incl VAT from Connacht Gold, Athlone, they have branches all over the west. https://www.connachtgold.ie/
    Think it's €20 for 1" x 900mm x 50M, they also have smaller sizes and narrower gauges.
    We are building one like a poly tunnel (4m wide x 2.2M high x 50M long) with 12mm rebar in hoops, Banagher Concrete will bend the rebar to our specs. http://www.bancrete.com/
    Will use 1" chicken wire up 1200mm and then 3M x 50M scaffold debris netting available for €75 from Thrace Synthetic Packaging Ltd. Clara Co Offaly. also available on ebay uk a little cheaper.
    Will be starting to build it May Bank Holiday w/end 2012
    Can mail pics and prices to anyone that wants a look for ideas.

    is the 1200 mm chicken wire 150 m or is that a typo. If it is thats for nothing. Where in athlone is their shop
