Is this appropriate for a 60s themed hen party?

What could I wear with it?

    Or I have this one

Which when I did a quick Google, comes up described as '60s' but they're both so different!

It has to be pretty short and you can match it with black tights and pumps. Big hair and maybe a hairband. Strong eye make up and nude lips. You could also wear low waist or no waist a-line coat over it.

Problem is I'm short and a size 14 so firstly there will DEFINITELY have to be black tights I think, and low waist dresses don't suit me! :(

I figured this was kinda a 'shift' dress so thinking I'll put my hair up & wear a hairband, and the strong eye make up I can definitely do ;)

The second dress is definitely 1950s, I'd go with the first one.

Could you get a big wide ribbon or hairband to match the dress? It would look great with hair in a big bouffant. Thick black eyeliner would also be pretty typical for the era. Think of the icons of the time, Twiggy, Brigitte Bardot (GREAT hair!)
