Just wondering has anyone ordered stuff off CRC recently and how long did it take to arrive? Ordered stuff the weekend and on their website it still says processing when they say they will dispatch goods ordered on the weekend on the next business day.

    Thanks in advance

Happened to me a few weeks ago, my housemate and I both made identical orders, mine a day before his, and his was processed and delivered within two days, where mine was still listed on their site as being processed. I emailed them, they apologised, and I had my order the next day.

I ordered on Saturday and got an email this morning saying it was dispatched so they might still be going through weekend orders

Ordered a set of rims last week and they arrived in less than 24 hours, with free postage. Hard to beat that!

Same story here. I ordered some stuff last Monday, it was delivered on Wednesday. My experience is that their delivery of larger packs is often quicker than smaller bits and pieces.

I find them great. Ordered a fairly big item last Tuesday and had it by Wednesday. Seriously top service!

Is the CRC site down, or is it just me? I also couldn't connect a few weeks ago either and ended up buying elsewhere.

    Working for me.

I use this site if I'm not sure.

Very odd that. Definitely coming up for me unless it's a cached copy.

I log into Ubuntu as I haven't logged into CRC from there so no cache :D

With chain reaction if you order a large item it comes by courier so it arrives quickly. However small items go via royal mail so they go to mainland uk before they get sent to the republic, thats why they take friggin ages!

    :D:D

I wouldn't worry too much about getting your order in straight away anyway as it seems to take them until Tuesday to process weekend order :D

Spot the person doing damn all tonight :o:o

Checked in Windows 7, Ubuntu and Tor Browser and using Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome Browsers and all show the website :D

As regards CRC I've noticed that over the last 6 months I quite often don't get the despatch note until the morning that the parcel actually arrives. The email always arrives quite early that morning.

Thanks again - I just tested Firefox before I read that and it worked!
I had been using IE8 (antique main laptop running XP), so perhaps the CRC site has stopped supporting that.
Don't know why I didn't think of trying a different browser before.
Didn't mean to imply I was worried about delivery time (although my one previous purchase took a long time, but i was over Xmas) - just wanted to avoid starting a new thread (pretty silly I suppose - it's not as if threads are a finite resource!)

Glad it's working. Now why is downforme..... showing it as down?

Maybe they're using antiques computers and using IE too...
Wondering if they detect user's browser, I tried with Firefox and got the same result
So maybe they're also don't know about Firefox et al...
    Maybe downforme has fossilised :P

(By the way, I just realised my last sentense above was sort of irrelavant :o - misread yours from previous post)
