Is there much free food / acolohic drinks?

There's basically no free food apart from nibbles. Alcohol yes, there's whiskey and soft drinks and coffee.

As lounges go it's very basic. If you want food just go elsewhere. T2 in Dublin is quite bearable for a short layover.

    Hi Mate.
Please see the details of the lounge :

Complimentary drinks and snacks. (Fruit, Snacks, Soups, Alcohol, Beer Whiskey etc.. and soft drinks with juices)
    Complimentary newspapers and magazines.
    Complimentary wi-fi.
Use of the Quiet Room in Terminal 2.
Use of the shower facilities in Terminal 2.

You can access the T2 lounge from T1 if you like as its only a 5 mins walk from the main shopping street in T1

    Cheers

    Hey Darren,

    Cheers for the information.

Are the sandwiches as well or is it very much just small snacks?

As far as i know they do not provide sandwiches, just snacks. For meals you would be better in T2 as there is a food area here and then go into the lounge to relax before the flight.

I see. Not sure if I'll buy the lounge access so.

There is a lounge in T1 isn't there? Don't want to go over to T2.

Least I can get my McDonalds Breakfast in T1 so I'm happy!

yup, but you need to leave the secure area to get to it and then go back through security screening to get to your flight.
