Shelving for shed

Hi all,

I'm looking to move all my tools from the house to my shed.

These tools are mostly car maintenance tools (tooboxes, sockets sets, screwdriver sets etc, etc).

I'd like to put up good shelving in the shed. Anyone got any good recommendations of where to buy shelving (I'd rather not make them myself).

Looking online, I see Woodies do wooden shelving, but I think I'd prefer metal shelving.

Any ideas?

Ikea are doing metal 4 shelf units for €10 at the minute. They aren't bad for the money your paying, I picked up 4 of them. If you just put a baton along the wall and screw them into it they will be grand.

They aren't bomb proof, but for storing some tools, paint in the shed/garage they'll be fine.

Make sure to Insulate the shed well, otherwise they will rust quickly.

Paneling centre sell off v cheaply their 8x4 and 8x2 panels, if there is a corner chipped or a crack. They usually 5-6 of these available

V cheap way to to make strong shelving for your shed

Some of the paneling is laminated so reasonably damp proof

Bumping this thread as I'm on the lookout for decent metal shelves to go inside my steel shed. Saw some in woodies but they looked very flimsy for the price.
