hey i really really need help, i love hairdressing and finally got accepted to a fetac level 5 course in cork. i was so excited only to find out that i cannot recieve back to education allowance or a social welfare payment. i live out of home and dont understand how they expect me to live of no money for a year. the reason for this is because wen i was 17 i did a fetac level 5 business course but didnt receive any payment or grant just did it because i was young and finished school is there any way out of this ive rang everywere but was told im not eligable for any payments !! im soo annoyed and upset because its wat ive always wanted:(:( please help..:)

Ouch that sucks...but there aint a hole lot you can do...why not try to get an apprentiship?

I know you say that you've tried everything, so I assume you've gone online to student finance.ie and cdvec for grants info?
