Give us a clue to what it smelled like ;)

    Is it a diesel?

If so it could be leaking injectors, with the engine running and the bonnet open listen for unusual hissing sounds.

    Just a guess anyway

Based on the info in your op, anything would be a wild guess, but.......

Engine oil from a leaking gasket
Transmission oil from a leaking gasket
Diesel from a damaged pipe or injector (petrol is unlikely to smoke unless the engine was relatively cool)
Exhaust pipe leak into cabin - Nasty one

    Electric cable
Electronic components (I had a regulator rectifier burn out on a bike and the smell was vile out of this world)

Another vehicle fumes through the vents

Did you check the engine temperature? Could also be something like a bag or plastic from the road going in to engine bay and burning.

    it s a petrol car

the smoke only lasted for a few minutes, i left the engine on for a while now and no smoke was present, but the smell is still there

Could be something like a drip of engine oil leaking from a gasket dropped onto the exhaust manifold, burned off and the smoke came in through the air vent intake.

Did it smell like burning oil or was it a plastic smell? any fuses blown?

dont even know where the fuses are located tbh, so i have to look into it

If you open the bonnet and start the engine, Then check if there is any oil dripping from the oil pressure sensor...circled in the pic below. A very common problem and when driving the oil can drip onto the exhaust and cause smoke.

Sounds like a problem i had with my own corsa, oil dripping onto the exhaust. Pretty much as described above .
