Where can I get a left hand crank arm only?

When I was putting new pedals on my bike, I very stupidly forced the pedal a bit, and now the threads in the crank arm are shot. The pedal threads seem fine.
Is there anywhere I can get a left hand crank arm only without having to shell out for a whole chainset? My existing chainset is a FSA Gossamer MegaExo in 175mm. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. Will any 175 mm crank arm fit or do I have to get a specific type?

A good bike shop might be able to re-tap the threads for you. Maybe.

I doubt it Raam. I cycled a few km on it and it's gouged pretty badly. I considered Isopon or some kind of adhesive, after all the pedals are cheaper than the crank arms or the chainset. Has anyone ever tried a bodge like that?

Put the pedal on from the opposite side. this will "retread" the crank. worth a shot!

It might be worth getting someone to check. I'd rather pay 15 quid for labour than 150 for a new crankset.

I saw this thread on the main page as I know none of you will recognise me - I never posted here before :)

How much are you talking for a full set of cranks? Any repair is possible, it just depends on how much you want to spend.
    1. Plastic metal/isopon and file to shape plus rethreading (don't think this will work as the layer will be too small)
    2. Use a helecoil to re-make the thread. Heli-coil home page(Google helecoil for more info, that was just one I picked) other example
    3. Get someone to make an insert - either push/press fit one ( it's the seventh or eighth picture down) or a threaded insert
THe third option would be best. If your wary of push fitting something as small as this think of getting the threaded insert - all you have to do is drill the existing hole wider, tap it to the new size needed for the insert and use a very strong thread lock fluid on the OUTSIDE thread - where it touches the crank.

Good news ... and bad news! I have a complete FSA Gossamer crankset that came off a bike I bought 2nd hand! Only in reasonable nick but does have the advantage of being free if you want to collect it in Shankill! Bad news is that it's 172.5 in length!

Jeff, let me know how this goes as I'm in a very similar position. Been trying everywhere for a new crank arm and resigned to getting a new chainset at this stage. Also an FSA chainset but not Gossamer and is 172.5
