She attained the Steeple Time in Daegu and the 10,000m time in Stanford and is on course to hit the (15.20 I think)

Is this a first not including relays? Just out of interest and put her achievements over the last 12 months into perspective

Did cragg have a 10k standard in 2007/2008? He had the 1500 and 5k but not sure if he had the 10 also.

He ran 27:3x in 2007. Think A standard is 27:4x?

Your right he got the NR in April 07 forgot 10k was eligible before the normal qualification period of May for track events.

    Mystery solved:o

Have they decided what events she will be picked for? I think I heard someone suggest she should avoid the steeplechase and try the 5 or 10.

They won't decide, Fionnuala and her her coach will decide.

Mark Carroll in 2000? Def 5k, and I think that was the year he set the irish 10k record, and it's quite likely he hit the 1500m in 1999/2000 too.

    Sonia in 2000 would've had 1500/5k/10k too.

    There must be more.

    Michelle Smith? :p
There's bound to have been a few but some achievement if she gets all three times.

Although there were not qualification standards in place going back some years ago but in Helsinki 1952 Pat Dolan competed in three individual events: 100m, 200m and 400m.

AFAIK a swimmer only needs one 'A' standard to qualify but can compete in other events with a 'B'.

In Michelle Smith's case considering she medalled in 4 events she probably had 4 'A' standards.
