I need a set of shock absorbers for my Octavia. I tried Bob Sweeney but he's out. Have you any other numbers? Kevin Marsh in Broadford, Long's in Drombana.

    Anyone else?

On a side note when it comes to shocks would I be better off buying them new?

Www.partfinder.ie will connect you to breakers in that area. Buying used shocks is a complete waste of money and time.

You can pick-up genuine car parts on Ebay... Just need to be lucky

Eurocarparts supplied me with a pair of OE shocks for a passat for £162 + delivery.

Otto car parts should be able to sort you out..

Dampers are readily available in most motor factors. Phone around for a good price.

Most motorfactors should be able to get you the original parts cheaper than dealers.

Fit new ones. limerick brakes in roxboro are regularly cheaper than the motor factors in ennis. I've bought stuff on ebay and also of other online places in the uk and they are regularly cheaper than factors here.
