Im aiming to move to Ireland over the summer from UK (staying with my girlfriend)
and it would make a lot of sense to open a bank account. i was just wondering what documents i would need to open a bank account (or if it would be possible as i would have no proof of address)

Thanks guys, any help is greatly appreciated

Hi, You will Need a passport or UK Drivers license and a proof of address. If you will be working over here, You can contact the Dept of Social protection, and they will send you your PPS number. This letter can be used as a proof of address.
