weird problem when i started the car this afternoon.(Nissan Almera 00') i had driven about 3km,parked up for a short time before restarting the car to go home....when i restarted the car the heater gauge shot up to the highest mark slowly falling back down to its normal position again..the fuel gauge also shot up and stuck…

weird problem when i started the car this afternoon.(Nissan Almera 00') i had driven about 3km,parked up for a short time before restarting the car to go home....when i restarted the car the heater gauge shot up to the highest mark slowly falling back down to its normal position again..the fuel gauge also shot up and stuck in the full tank position..which took about 20 mins to fall back to normal level..any reason why this would happen.

Had that happen to me before, car was loosing power, Alternator died. All dials were going bonkers, similar to yours.

Yeah sounds like Abadan connection mayb a loose one on altenator r starter or even a loose earth wire
