JSB & Casual Work

Just heard that I got some casual work - which is great - but there is a problem. In the interview it was discussed that it would be full time 5 days per week , 8hrs per day / 40 hrs per wk. Now they r saying that it could b 3-5 days a week but only 20-30hrs & that 1 day I could be working for 4 or 5hrs and another day for 6 or 8hrs - depending on how bust they are. I forgot to say that its waitressing at €7.42/hr plus service charge which would work out about €8/hr.
So basically if I have a max of 30hrs @ €8 = €240 and at the moment I get €188 on JSB I'm basically working for €52 extra per week which works out at €1.73/hr.

I have no problem working but this seems ridiculous. For the day I work 4hrs I would get €32 and on JSB I would get €31.33. Forgot to say I have to travel 20 minutes to get to work so factor in the price of petrol too

How are they paying less than minimum wage? Are you under 21?
