    Hi guys........

I'm pretty new to the 'full time' work force. I have recently being offered a new job which is full time on a fixed term contract basis and have been given the specified dates, its basically a 6 month contract.

This probably sounds like a stupid question but if I chose to leave around 5 months into the contract and give my two weeks notice, is it possible for me to terminate the contract early??

If you're an employee (get a payslip, tax is deduced from your wages) then absolutely it is.

Your contract will have a notice period in it, saying how much notice you have to give. You can terminate at any time (in writing), giving them just this much notice.
