Got a new phone so I gave the ol' faithful HTC Desire to the wifey

    I am suitably amazed

It would normally go a full day (just) for me with medium usage and I realise she is not as heavy on it as I was but after she has made and received a good few calls, browsed about 10 YouTube vids, looked at numerous house websites and the likes, checked email and done a fair bit of texting it is still alive after nearly 3 days and its on 23% battery

    here are a few screenshots

What has taken over my old phone? maybe there are battery fairies at play

Maybe your more of a heavy user than your realised. My mum can squeeze out four days out of her Xperia Play. Some people don't use their handset as often as we tend to do. I wouldn't really consider anyone here a medium or a light user :)

Clearly your wife is a witch, i suggest a beheading.

doesn't work. you'll need to see if she weighs the same as a duck, then burn her.

it finally gave a warning beep for 10% left last night at about 9pm after the missus had chatted to a friend for approx 30 mins on it. I find it astounding that it lasted that long.

As you all say maybe there are darker forces involved but she is by no means a light user (my mother would be a light user and sends about 10 texts a week and is only ever on the phone in an emergency) The wifey uses it a fair bit and watches a lot of pregnancy videos and browses a lot of interior design stuff at the moment. she also calls her friends and could be on the phone for at least 20 mins per day

anyhow its pretty good in my book

As for the beheading, burning or seeing if she floats with a rock tied around her foot - I have tried it all :D
