    Anyone know where i might get this repaired in the midlands.
    Some eejit stepped on the plug going into the unit the other night at a gig.
    It works but if you tip off it or move it it willshort and knock the gt off for a few secs....pain in the arse.

    I think most computer repair places should be able to do the repair for you. They would have to do similar things to laptops all the time.

    Happens a bit to those connectors, it'll just be a cracked solder joint. Any electronics shop/TV repair shop worth it's salt will be able to reflow the joint for you. Or if you're in Cork sometime, I'll do it for a packet of biccies.

    Nah the connector is still soldered to the pcb alright.
    Ita damaged on the outside making the jack loose so it moves about a bit
    Ill stick up a few pics of it later.

    Sorry for the late post, but if you still need this sorted, fixtronix in Longford will be able to help you. Friends of mine in the music biz recommend them highly and they do courier pickup/drop off at good prices if it's not near you. A google will find them for you.

    You could also try asking Roland Ireland for an approved repair place, they're in ballymount, Dublin just off the M50. Expect a higher cost tho, fixtronics are quite reasonably priced in comparison.
