Info on the Working Time Agreement WTA seems very sketchy at the moment.

the GRA web site is saying that we operate the WTA as per EU directive /Code.

Buts whats the craic with the whole hours off to be taken within 3 days etc

    maybe someone could PM me

    I don't think anybody knows.

Having read the GRA website, it seems that management haven't agreed to a formal WTA agreement, so we resort back to the European WTA.

It really only relates to Court, and Mandatory Rest

To attempt to explain it in detail is beyond me at this time. The best advice I can offer is contact your divisional rep. if something crops up in relation to it. The most obvious things that may crop up are court appearances on the morning of a mandatory rest day or extra hours worked on a mandatory rest day as a result of exigencies.

Don't put contacting your rep. on the long finger though as hours in lieu must be taken within a specified time frame (I believe).

Only your own rep. can offer you advice that you can use in dealing with your supervisor.

The Legislation is available online, and is quite detailed. Have a read of it, try to make sense of it. The crux is you should have 11 clear hours between shifts, and if the needs of the service prevent this, then you must get them back later in the week.
