    was due to play in a club near moyvalley at the weekend but due to mix with my two playing partners we ended up here, 40 quid each, bunkers out of play (was supposed to be 45 seemingly according to the young lad in shop ), no grass on the greens (no lie, more grass on my ceiling!!) and now just seen on moyvalley website that the rate is actually 35 euro (well for '11). bloody joke!! won't be getting my cash again!!:mad:

    Looks like I'll be playing here over the Christmas. Has anyone played it recently? What sort of nick is it in? I tried ringing there and noone answers or it goes to a modem sound :-)

    Are you sure your ringing the golf club sometimes the Hotel number is given out by directory enquiries in error Number is 046 9548080.

    Also just to answer your earlier query. The tees, fairways and greens are in great nick at the moment. Rough is soft due to the heavy rain we have been getting. Bunkers are currently lift, rake and place but it just depends on the weather as to the rules on the day.

    Have only played the course once in the Scratch Cup this year but there's a great finishing few holes to the course, holes 16-18 yield a very strong and interesting finish and plenty of room to wreck a card, enjoy.

    16 is a beautiful hole alright, played the course just the once earlier this year and despite putting my second into water on the 18th was delighted to come off with a par, felt the golf gods gave me something in my favour which rarely happens to me!
